Happy Hondadays, and to an upcoming New Year. I recieved a bunch of CDs that I was wanting, as well as earpad replacements to my skullcandy headphones. Affordable and durable, well, at least the electronic parts and shell do.
What I have cooking on here is an 'About' page, since I figured having this website be up with no reasonable idea as to who the author is, seems puzzling. I type this as I already listed my screen name twice (soon to be thrice) on here, it's the site name for crying out loud. IDK, I'm just finding something for people to read and/or enjoy.
But enough about what I plan to do with the site. The leadup to Christmas Day was nerve wracking, going to stores and malls for gifts was especially poignant. I save and thrift up to the hilt, but good gifts felt like I had to hit the triple digit mark. After that and a couple of texts asking for what people wanted, they were wrapped by my brother offering to do it for me. It may seem kind, but I know the true answer was because my wrapping is atrocious. He didn't wrap his own gift, I gave him a decoy to wrap.
Couple that with a new job after finally eyeing Indeed at just the right moment, and it wasn't too bad. It isn't retail, but it is dishwashing, where I can relax with my music on in one earbud. The best part is that it's close, so commuting won't have to be such a pain to earn currency. Though the fact that today was in the low 70's irks me a bit, but it makes sense since I live near some mountains. They're a moisture wall from the West unless there's a front going from the East. Not that I hate it, if anything I'm OK with not shoveling the driveway from potentially forming ice on the tire tracks.
