Another big leap to the next blog, and it's not much to glance at, in my opinion. In between uni, lurking SLAP magazine forums, and snatching the occasional CD from a literally who artist (affectionate), it's a usual adult day.

I organized my stylesheets into a folder finally, I had to search how to move documents in NeoCities before someone told me that you had to rename the file to be nested into the folder you want it to be. If I wanted an example.html document to be in the (Pile) folder, then instead of 'example.html' it has to be renamed to 'Pile/example.html', which then reorganizes the document into the respective folder. This broke all of my blog entry css's, which meant that all of you lurkers had to stare at dark text on a dark background. Sorry. Will fix it somehow in the future, I have like one banner and a page reorganization to do.

Another thing I wanted to share is the discovery of two glitches, or rather overlooks that I found while playing Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. Nothing too major, or even worthwhile, unless I'm ignorant of potential cheese strats. The best I could explain is that you can do body flip modifiers to Nail-The-Tricks that are cancelled while holding a grab, and a script hiccup that I dubbed 'Nailed-The-State'. Nailed-The-State is what happens when you enter Nail-The-Manual, but you cancel as you're raising your foot on one stick, and holding down the right trigger. It allows you to land but still be in Nail-The-Trick state, which means super slow motion and balancing, and you can stack focus mode on top of Nailed-The-State. You also don't need to hold the right trigger down once you land, letting go just plays an ollie noise. Just don't jump, because it's in Nailed-The-State where you suffer under 2x gravity restriction, enough that bonelesses put you halfway through the floor.

Here's the video that I hastily made in like 15 minutes after I found out. I saw OOB glitches and a infinite buttslap on YT, but never NTT abuse like what I did.

Why did I find these? I like THPG, especially with the cheats that allow you to circumvent the missions that keep the Marc Ecko clones that will try to bail you in the map. I'm probably the only person in the world that wishes that Neversoft had one more Tony Hawk game in them to re-iterate more on the Nail-The-Trick, since I got the hang of that control scheme more than Skate's Flickit system. Any suggestions of what they would do would just be some fan's rabid dreaming, so I won't elaborate.

Well, except for the aptly titled 'Nail-The-Rail', where you have to balance your board on a rail from a variety of angles, where the less board on the rail gives more points at risk of bail. There could be 'lock ins', but at the expense of speed and point gainage. Like Nail-The-Manual, but with two 2D foot positioning, and rotations. Cmon, it could make the stance system matter again!
